Thank you registering at OPUS 111 Music Studio.  Every effort will be made to ensure the proper placement of students and the quality of instruction offered at OPUS 111 Music Studio.

Payments: Tuition fees for lessons and classes must be paid in full in advance or in monthly installments.  Payment for individual lessons should be made directly to the instructor. 

Delinquent Accounts: OPUS 111 Music Studio reserves the right to suspend or discontinue instruction of any student who is delinquent in fulfilling his/her financial obligations.  The School reserves the right to charge a late fee for overdue tuition and will take appropriate action for the collection of any unpaid tuition.

Student Absences: OPUS 111 Music Studio does not require an instructor to make up lessons for which a student is absent. Please realize that your tuition is for a "scheduled" slot in our weekly schedule regardless if you choose to take advantage of it or not.  Please do not deduct money or ask for a refund due to missed lessons. *Notification of inability to attend a lesson is a courtesy to the student's teacher, but does not excuse payment for contracted lessons.

Teacher Absences: Any lesson missed as a result of a teacher’s absence will be made up.  All makeup lessons must be completed within the session that the absence occurs. 

Withdrawals & Refunds: If discontinuance is unavoidable, OPUS 111 Music Studio will accept termination of lessons at the end of the current session without penalty after receiving a signed "Discontinuance Form".  Forms, available from your teacher, must be turned in to your teacher(s) no later than two (2) weeks prior to the last lesson. Students who withdraw during a semester are responsible for the entire session in full and will be held accountable including any outstanding late fees, which will be accumulated until proper written notification is received.  Notification is a simple courtesy to the teacher(s) involved who have spent quality time with your child(ren). Non-attendance or verbal withdrawal to a faculty member does not constitute an official withdrawal.  Registration and materials fees are non-refundable.  THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR TUITION PAID WHEN LESSONS ARE TERMINATED DURING A SESSION.

Tardiness: Students who are late for a lesson cannot be guaranteed their full lesson time.  Faculty will wait for a student for one third of the lesson time before starting another lesson or leaving.  Missed lesson time due to faculty tardiness will be made up at a mutually convenient time.

Class Cancellation: OPUS 111 Music Studio reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment.  In the event that a class is cancelled, a full refund or credit for any advance tuition payment is issued.  Registration Fees are non-refundable and every reasonable attempt will be made to offer an appropriate class within one (1) calendar year.

Inclement Weather Closings: We will makeup lessons due to inclement weather ONLY if we are unable to make it to the studio and are unavailable to teach lessons.  We realize that safety is the issue and we respect your decision regarding travel during inclement weather.  Please understand, in all fairness to everyone, such missed lessons will not automatically be "rescheduled" due to limited open time slots in our teaching schedules.  We ask that you notify us of such absences prior to the lesson so that we are not left wondering about your safety.  Please do not make the assumption that OPUS 111 Music Studio will be closed based on the closing of area public schools.

Media Release: Unless notified in advance in writing, registered students give consent for OPUS 111 Music Studio to photograph, audio or videotape footage of classes, lessons and/or activities without advance notice and to publish such photos, audio and video footage royalty-free in its print, audio and electronic promotions including its website.
